On Tuesday 8th of november room 26,13,9 went on a trip to MOTAT the first thing we did was to listen to Elaine are MOTAT instructor.Elaine told us that we can't touch some things and you can touch some other things. Then we got free time in a fun room. There was a mini room that you could go into it had somethiing like a fake earth quake but it did not feel like one.
After that we went into the learning room. It had old camaras, old telephones, old typing machines and an ipad and many more things. Elaine talked to us of ways of communitcating with people in the olden days some things were that the cd plays were really big and the tape was so big and it could only fit 2 songs on it but now we have small memory chips which can hold 300 songs.
After that we went on the tram we did not go on a New Zealand tram we went on a Melbone tram. On the tram we went past a park and at that park I learnt how to ride my bike. We also went past the Auckland ZOO there was even a tram crossing that was cool then we finaly stopped at the other side where the plane side was. But we did not go to the planes. Soon after that we turned around and started heading back to the main part.
The next thing we did was go on to the voyager the voyager is a a film on a roller coster this was one of the favourite things I did at MOTAT. In the voyager it is really cold and the cool thing is that the room moves. When it had finished every one liked it so much we all asked for one more ride. The last thing we did was go on a treasure hunt in our groups well do that we went into a mirror maze this is a maze with mirrors so you might run into a wall but I did not. There were lots of things to look at and I wish I could go again.
I think little children would really like it to. It would be a lot of fun!!!!!!!!!
how did people communicate around the world in the past? People commumicated around the world in the past with thing such as send leters they send this by ,boats, trains and the pony expess.to send a letter in those day it could some time take months to arrive at where thay were sending it to there destination.
how do we communicate with people around the world today?

todays communication is much faster much clearer.

EOTC
I had a great time at EOTC week we did orienteering, tree adventures, went to a marae, but I did not get to go to the wave pools because I was sick on that day.
My favourite thing I did at EOCT week is tree adventures because you get to go up in high trees and go down flying foxs if you enjoy climbing this is the place to go. When you go down the flying fox it is like runing as fast as a lion.
My second favourite is the marae because you get to learn about the tribes plus the boys get to learn the haka and for the girls get to learn the poi dance.
My third favourite is orienteering because it was really hard to find the pegs. On the first course my team come second and I had to go home because I had a meeting at Sacred Hart
we had to the pegs beside bushs, next to plants and objects.
I think EOTC week was really fun because we learnt a lot of really intresting things I think other schools should have an EOTC week.
EOTC ROCKS!!!
